Patrick has worked in interactive design and UX strategies for 15 years. Former Lead Faculty for Web Design and Interactive Media at the Art Institutes International- Kansas City, Patrick retains a B.S. in computer technology from Purdue University and a M.S. from Indiana University in androgogical sciences with a focus on delivery for progressive media.

Patrick began his career as a data analyst for Flemming and Associates, a savvy viscous flow engineering firm, then acquired the Digital Media Manager position at Purdue University, School of Engineering and Technology. Later, he went on to become the principal designer and owner of Gash International, LLC and now serves as the bignamebrain owner and design principal. Patrick holds a diverse client listing ranging from the Federal Government and international Fortune 100 companies to a rural candy shop and independent artist. During his career, Patrick retains faculty positions teaching all things interactive via best practices in post-secondary education and participated in various showings including a 2004 photography showing with the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art.

Patrick now serves as the Web Manager for Park University and is undergoing a rigorous redesign of the University's site as well as serving the Department of Computer Science at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS, as an Assistant Professor.

Patrick's skill set, expertise, and continuing education allows him to stand as a notable interactive designer within the industry. Focusing on UX, UAE, information architecture, Web design, graphic design,interactive aesthetics, visual indication and all things interactive, he continues to design poignant experiences be it tangible or virtual.

Patrick also has a UFO parked above his garage. Just ask his imaginary friends.
